Syed Trading Corporation (STC) was established in January 1952 by Syed Aqil Jafri. Its now a family concern, owned and managed by his successors--- the Jafri Family.
In 1989 Syed Trading Corporation was awarded an export license begning to trade in such items as leather garments ansd general handycraft manufactured in Pakistan.
Iqbal Jafri managing director (STC) spend the major part of the next few years marketing in Scandinavia, Europe and Canada. As trade with Scandinavia expended he register a branch of the company in Sweden --- Classic Garments.
Today the company produces its own goods predominantly Brass, Marble, Wooden & Wrought Iron handy crafts, Nut & Nail Figures hand made Ceramic Tiles natural Salt Lights, Marble Bowls & Basins, Textile items such as (T-Shirts, Bed Sheets & Denim Wear) . The company has four manufacturing units two in Karachi, a Sea Port & commercial capital of the country and two in Lahore where the head office is situated.
These are the current items STC has a capacity to produce a wide variety of other products in the same media.
